Nick Bell
Nicholas Bell is a Registered Dental Assistant, and has been working chair side with Dr. Ruiz since 2007 along with organizing and participating with Ruiz Dental Seminars. Currently Nick is working on his BS, majoring in Micro-Biology, and aspires to become a Cosmetic Dentist.

About Dr. Ruiz and the Faculty
Jose-Luis Ruiz, DDS, FAGD
Founder and Director of the Los Angeles Institute of Esthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Ruiz has been named as one of the “Top Clinicians in CE in 2006-2010” by Dentistry Today. He is an Associate Instructor at Dr. Gordon Christensen’s PCC in Utah and The Scottsdale Center; an independent evaluator of dental products for CRA; Course Director of the “University of Southern California Esthetic Dentistry Continuum” from 2004-2009; and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ruiz is an educator and researcher, who has published several clinical and research papers on adhesive dentistry, esthetic dentistry and occlusion. He is also in full-time private practice. This unique blend allows him to really connect current science with the practicing dentist. As one of his attendees put it: “Dr. Ruiz really has the pulse of clinical dentistry.”
Dr. Ruiz has been practicing in the Studio District of Los Angeles for over 18 years, and enjoys a clientele of many stars and entertainers. His focus is on treating complex Cosmetic, Rehabilitation, and Implant cases. Dr. Ruiz has made numerous television appearances highlighting his Esthetic Dental makeovers, including NBC Channel 4 News, ABC’s Vista LA and Channel 52’s Telemundo. He lectures nationally and internationally.
Patricia Ann Ryan, DDS
Dr. Ryan was previously a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry and the Course Director of the Preclinical Courses at the University of Southern California. Currently, she is a part-time volunteer and maintains a private practice in Fullerton California.
Renee Paul, DDS
Dr. Paul was previously Course Director and a Clinical Instructor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She received her Doctorate in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She completed an Internship Program with Dr. Gordon Christensen in Provo, Utah. She currently is in private practice in Connecticut.
Luis G. Vargas, DDS FAGD
Dr. Vargas graduated in 1984 and has been in practice over 25 years. He obtained the fellowship of the AGD in 1998. He has a general practice including, Orthodontics, Implants, and Laser Dentistry. He is a member of A.G.D, I.A.O and several other organizations. He's been in private practice since 1994 in San Bernardino, California.
